Our Lady Star of the Sea School Ocean Grove offers an enriching camp program for students from Year 3 to Year 6. These camps provide unique opportunities for students to develop social skills, independence, and a love for the outdoors. Below is a table indicating the destinations for each year’s camp along with brief descriptions of each camp.

Camp Destinations

Year 3: YMCA Camp Wyuna, Queenscliff

YMCA Camp Wyuna offers an exciting introduction to the camp experience for our Year 3 students. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Queenscliff, this camp provides a safe and supportive environment where students can participate in a variety of outdoor activities such as beach games, nature walks, and team-building exercises.

Year 4: Camp Wilkin, Anglesea

Situated in the scenic town of Anglesea, Camp Wilkin offers our Year 4 students a mix of adventure and learning. The camp includes activities like rock climbing, bushwalking, and orienteering, all designed to challenge students and help them build confidence and resilience.

Year 5: City CYC, Melbourne

City CYC in Melbourne provides our Year 5 students with an urban adventure. This camp focuses on exploring the cultural and historical aspects of Melbourne. Activities include visits to museums, art galleries, and other significant landmarks, helping students appreciate the diversity and vibrancy of city life.

Year 6: YMCA Lady Northcote

For our Year 6 students, the YMCA Lady Northcote camp offers a comprehensive outdoor education experience. Located in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, this camp provides a variety of activities such as canoeing, archery, and ropes courses. It is an excellent opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and a deeper connection with nature.
