Who We Are

We’re the Parents & Friends Association (PFA); a welcoming group of volunteer parents and carers working alongside the school to build connection and community.

WHat We Do

• Organise social events like our Annual Parent Night (Trivia / Bogan Bingo)
• Coordinate the annual Easter Raffle
• Run the Second-hand Uniform Sale
• Support school-run events like Mother’s & Father’s Day BBQs, School Disco, Arts Trail, Prep and New Family Picnic, Mission Fete, Diversity Day, Year 6 Graduation Morning Tea, School Working Bees, Icy Pole Days etc
• Support school programs like Scholastic Book Club and Care and Concern Register (where meals are coordinated and provided to families in need)
• Provide additional communications to parents and carers as year level Liaisons
• Organise year level get togethers or parent social nights

How We operate

We get to do the fun stuff! We are about building community (not governance and fundraising). We are here to support the Principal, staff, and students with events and activities. All positions are voluntary; even small contributions of time make a big difference. You can do a little or a lot, depending on how much time you have. We meet each term (usually in Week 2 and Week 8) at 7:00 pm in the Staff Room. It is very causal, and you don’t have to attend every meeting.

Roles you could take on

There are lots of different roles you could take on like:

• Committee Member: Help plan events big or small
• Year Level Parent Liaison: Share info and reminders via Messenger
• Event Helper: Lend a hand on the day
• Or simply join meetings to stay connected
