Students Regularly have opportunities to participate in a wide range of extra curricular activities to support thier learning.

Music Lessons

Private music lessons for piano, guitar and drums are available at Our Lady Star of the Sea during the school day. Bookings, cost and information are available directly from Oxygen Tuition, Geelong.

Swimming Program

The school facilitates a ‘learn to swim’ program for children in Years Prep, 1 & 2 and students in grades 3 – 6 who have not reached the safe swimmer level known as Water Sense 3, (a standard set through the Royal Life Saving Society Australia).

Lessons are held over a 2 week period, usually a 9 day program, at Bellarine Aquatic and Sports Centre.

Students in Years 3–6 who have reached Water Sense 3 and who are very competent swimmers will have an opportunity to participate in an advanced swimming session at Kardinia Pool and Eastern Beach.

Tennis Lessons

A qualified local tennis coach offers students tennis lessons at lunchtime on the Surfside Tennis Club courts adjacent to the school. Children are escorted there and back.
