At Our Lady Star of the Sea students are encouraged to explore and inquire.
At Our Lady Star of the Sea School students explore integrated units of learning that are aimed at expanding student’s knowledge of themselves and the world, developing their understandings, skills and behaviours.
Teachers plan each unit of work in stages allowing students to have input into the direction of each unit of work and their learning outcomes.
Integrated units include reference to areas of the Victorian Curriculum and the Religious Education Curriculum Framework, therefore developing Faith and Life connections.
Throughout activities students are encouraged to engage in inquiry process to explore learning opportunities. This includes experiences in questioning, planning, investigating, analysing, connecting and communicating.
